Meet the unofficial mascot of Midwest 2026: “Smokey,” the exhausted squirrel.

A few days of Bible School came with especially smoky skies from wildfires in Canada and Wisconsin, and you may notice the haze in some of the photos from later in the week. Apparently, Smokey was feeling it too.
